Down at the Docks...

Hoi,

As you might have read earlier, Saint Nick and Santa (well actually they are one and the same guy) provided me with some Dystopian Wars scenery. I decided to combine the Amera docks with some of the stuff from the Spartan Games scenery sets and this resulted in the dock-scene you see below.

I provided an underground for the docks in order to add some gravel to the sides of the walls. I then used two of the warehouses and the cranes from the Factory Terrain set and two watchtowers of the Military Terrain set to liven up the place. Then I moved on to two of the small islands I've got. These I intend to use as hills featuring a mansion estate and a fortress for DW. The trees are plastic toothpicks, a tip I got from Pijlie. I am now waiting for my local hobby-shop to get some GW roughcoat spray in store to prime the lot.

Can't wait to get cracking on these!

Cheers Sander

Thanks Santa!

Hoi,

As I said earlier; a bit late but: "Thanks Santa"! I've been spoiled this year. Santa brought me a load of nice Amera Plastics stuff to try out and use for gaming. The selection included:

- The Campaign tents pack
- A tent set
- 3 Nissen Huts
- The Trench Battlefield, now this one is not for wargaming, I'll probably be wanting to do my own modular boards for that. But rather for use in class to show how Trench Warfare worked..
- The Island Harbour set.
- The Island Starter Set these can also be used as mountains or hills in regular games, brilliant stuff! The last two sets are mainly for use with my Dystopian War games.
- For the latter I also got a Kingdom of Britannia Avenger Class Fleet Carrier

Am I spoiled or what? And my B-day is coming up, yay!

Cheers Sander
