And now for something else!

Hello Everybody!

Today's update will bring you something different for sure. First I finished one more of the lasses I am painting for my all female Pirate crew for Legends of the High Seas.

Next up is an unit of Cygnar Trenchers for Warmachine. I have had these chaps in the cabinet all coated and based for almost 2 years now and painted them up by and by. Yesterday I finally finished the last 3 of them.

Hope you like them!

Cheers Sander

Picture Update part 1!

 Hoi,

As promised more pictures of stuff awaiting your approval!

This figure is the Prince of Orange (about 1815) from the new Waterloo1815 mounted officers set.

From the same set is this Dutch Line Infantry officer.

These two Royal Horse guards are actually some of my oldest figures in the collection. I originally painted them up when I was 15 or so and have now re-done them to look somewhat better.

Then something different! This figure is a Privateer Press 'Bodger' for Warmachine. I quite liked to put the base together of all kinds of scraps, odds and bits lying around.

A very characterfull figure if I may say so myself.

Cheers Sander

Finished!

Warmachine Trenchers Unit

Now and then I do get something finished, honestly! These pictures show two figures from the Warmachine Steampunk game. They depict an infantry unit of the Cygnar faction, called "Trenchers" for obvious reasons. Work on these started during my week of gaming at my friend's where I prepared the whole unit of 6 figures plus the extension blister of 2 more mini's. Since the figures are almost 32mm they are more work then smaller mini's due to the high amount of (visible) detail. You can't smuggle like you can on smaller figures: if you do not paint a button that is clearly there the figure looks odd immediately!

Well now I have finished 2...6 more still to go.

Cheers!

Gaming Part 2

These pictures show some of the games of Warmachine we played. The games were played using 4 of the Factions of the Game to with Khador, Cryx, Protectorate of Menoth and Cygnar. Needless to say I lost almost all the games I played, nevertheless I had great fun since all these games have a great narrative value.
