Since my Napoleonics are very much in flavour I've decided to show you some WIP pictures of my French 5th Hussars.
All of the figures are Revell Chasseurs of the Guard and Italeri Hussars, these form the basis for most of my hussars. I did some headswaps with HäT and Bruno Arnall heads.
Back view. I still need to do the shako's some details like the cockades, hair and buttons. Then I need to do the horses... I HATE painting horses!

That's some very good work on those miniatures.
I'm thinking of having a go at some 20mm plastics myself soon. What would you recommend in terms of a primer?

@Darrel: thanks! For basing I use black spray from either GW or Army painter. But painting plastics is a bit different then metals, I did a kind of tutorial here:
