Holiday Update Part IX

Hoi,

For the last few days I have been painting like mad. Mostly I have been painting the upper storey floor and stairs but in between, when said floor and stairs had to dry, I had massive amounts of time top paint up not one but two regiments of HäT Napoleonic Württemberg Line Infantry regiments.

So here are some pictures:

I intend to create a 3 regiment brigade, with added Light infantry and artillery support. There are some headswops in there, most notably in the command stands. The flags are from: http://www.warflag.com/napflags/index.htm
For uniform reference I used empire.histofig.com.

Cheers Sander

I've been tempted to increse my options by buying this pack, but haven't done so yet as I haven't finished my Peninsula projects yet. Seeing your painted figs is mighty tempting, though....;-)

Lovely work, as usual, Sander!

Great painting, I've never painted HaT figures before, but if I ever paint Nappies for myself, I will be tempted to move away from the lead and over to these fine looking fellows.
If your having trouble posting comments on other blogs you need to download google chrome, for some reason it works better than microsoft.

@Ray: if you're ever at the point of painting Nappies please do consider HäT, especially the Big Boxes (Nassau and Württembergers) and the new MAC sets are worth your while in both sculpting and value for money. From one box of Württembergers (about €11,-) I am able to build 3 regiments (of about 24men) and one unit of skirmishers.

As to blog trouble: when people have a blog which has moderates control, like I do, or have a password thingy where you have to repeat a password then I can post, if not I seem to be unable to log in with blogger to leave a message. First I thought this was due to the fact that I use Firefox, but the problem remains in Explorer. And I have google chrome...
